    The need for matching making is urgent. Many active Christians are struggling to find their spouses. Many parents are frustrated their children are not finding godly spouses. Many Christian singles whether they are divorced or widowed report they are stymied in frustration as they seek a Christian partner. Many have tried online dating, but more is needed with that resource! 

    The Bible has a worldview on this:  2 Corinthians 6:14   Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? This means that a Christian is called to marry other practicing Christians. It could also mean that the spouse actually needs to be a Christian before the marriage. What about marrying someone who is not a Christian?  These types of issues are dealt with in this class. 

    Class Outcomes:

    • Learn the Biblical worldview on matchmaking
    • Learn pastoral counseling approaches to helping someone find their match
    • Become proficient in the skills of matchmaking
    • Learn how life coaching and matchmaking connect.

    Assignments

    View all online lectures and read all the articles on each topic. CLI computer tracks whether you do this. After viewing all lectures for the unit, take the quiz based on the lectures. Each quiz has up to 20 questions. (100% of grade). 

    Grading Scale
    A 95-100%   A- 90-94%   B+ 87-89%   B 83-86%   B- 80-82%   C+ 77-79%   C 73-76%   C- 70-72%    D+ 67-69%   D 63-66%   D- 60-62%   F 0-59%
    Your average for the course must be at least 60%. Otherwise, you will fail the class and will receive no credit.

    Deadline
    You have 180 days to finish the course. Complete all assignments before the final deadline, or you will be automatically unenrolled, and all coursework will be removed. You will have to start over and retake the class to receive credit.
