    CLI student Paul O.Toritseju

    "I am Paul O.Toritseju, I am a Nigerian. I hail from the Niger Delta area of southern Nigeria. I was born on February 3rd 1972 to both Nigerian parents...

    I was born into a Christian religious family. My religious background from the African Indeginous Church popularly known as "Cherubim and Seraphim Church. " And by the time I was eighteen years old I moved to the Anglican Church in 1989/90 and it was from here I sensed the call to ministry.

    And on Sunday 24th September 1995, I had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and I became born again and was baptised same day in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongue. And on Tuesday 10th of October 1995 at 9:50pm, I heard the call to ministry.

    I started out in ministry on Saturday 26th April 1997 as an undergraduate student studying Theater Arts at the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State Nigeria.

    And upon graduation in the year 2000 and after the one year compulsory national youth service to my nation, I went into church planting. But right within me I knew I needed some kind of training in the art and science of ministry.

    My church planting experience has not been a pleasant one because I experienced failure in two attempts in church planting. But the call and mercy of God has sustained me in the pursuit of ministry. And I am currently on my third attempt on church planting and I can see God's grace at work already.

    It was during the period of mourning the demise of my wife that I came across Christian Leaders Institute in the month of March 2018.

    It was a great discovery for me to find a ministry training Institute online with the offer of scholarship. And since I got started with Ministry 101, I have experience a lot of transformation and my family devotion has greatly improved because of the lessons I have taken in CLI...

    Far a long time, I have been longing for a formal ministry training but I never had the financial means to pursue it. But I give God the glory for making it possible through the Scholarship programme of Christian Leaders Institution to pursue and having a formal ministry training as this will help me a great deal to fulfilling my ministry dream."
