Parenting Skills (1 CDS Module)

M'inscrire There are many approaches to parenting. As Christian leaders, ministers, or life coach ministers, we want to be competent in a Biblical approach that launches children and young people into a confident God-glorifying life.
Professor Elzinga shares this parenting skills course for you to apply to your own life and lead others into confident Christian parenting!
This one-credit ministry skills course is designed to serve those who are:
- Life Coach Ministers who desire the Parenting Badge.
- Ministers who want parenting resources for their ministries.
- Parents who seek to launch confident Christian leaders.
- Christian grandparents who seek to help their children with raising children.
Outcomes:
The sessions will focus on helping students learn how to better parent and lead others to better parent in the following areas:

- The "I am not the center" attitude
- The Skill of Self-Discipline

Assignments
View all online lectures and read all the articles on each topic. CLI computer tracks whether you do this. After viewing all lectures for the unit, take the quiz based on the talks. Each quiz has up to 20 questions. (100% of grade).
Grading Scale
A 95-100% A- 90-94% B+ 87-89% B 83-86% B- 80-82% C+ 77-79% C 73-76% C- 70-72% D+ 67-69% D 63-66% D- 60-62% F 0-59%
Your average for the course must be at least 60%. Otherwise, you will fail the class and will receive no credit.Deadline
You have 180 days to finish the course. Complete all assignments before the final deadline, or you will be automatically unenrolled, and all coursework will be removed. You will have to start over and retake the class to receive credit.
