During this time, God called me to take care of a very dear friend of mine who was diagnosed with ALS. I took care of her until she took her final breath. During this time, God had called me to utilize my skills as a caregiver and my experience in the medical field to become a chaplain, specifically in the areas of hospice care and serving those in need of Jesus while incarcerated.
The course was really helpful for me because it actually helped me recognize where I stood in my faith and what I needed to work on as a Christian, specifically in the areas of studying and walking my path. It also helped me learn how to be a Christian Leader, like Jesus, instead of using my skills as a leader that I learned in the world.
I am humbled that the courses I take are free- if it wasn’t for this, I would not be able to walk this path God has put me on. I think it is wonderful and such a great blessing that there are people out there who believe in this program so much that they are donating to help people become who Christ has asked them to be. I have been donating since I started classes. I will continue to donate, and hopefully be able to donate more in the future.
