    Divorce Recovery

Navigate separation, divorce, and post-divorce rebuilding with truth, grace, wisdom, stability, boundaries, community, and hope in Christ.

1 Module Self-Paced Christian Growth Course
Are you seeking Christ-centered stability, wisdom, healing, and hope after the pain of separation, divorce, or post-divorce rebuilding?

Divorce Recovery is a public-facing Christian growth course taught by Rev. Henry Reyenga and Attorney/Pastor Brian DeCook, with Haley Steiner as the presenter, to help adults walk through divorce recovery with truth, grace, wisdom, and hope in Christ.

    Course Purpose

The purpose of Divorce Recovery is to help students navigate layered loss, grief, identity, responsibility, boundaries, forgiveness, family transitions, community support, and whole-life rebuilding after separation or divorce.

Using a Christ-centered recovery framework, students learn to name loss honestly, recognize grief waves, stabilize urgent areas of life, rebuild identity in Christ, discern responsibility without collapsing into shame, and practice faithful boundaries.

The course also helps students distinguish forgiveness from reconciliation, trust, access, consequences, and safety.

    You’ll Learn To

    Recover with Truth and Grace

    • Name layered loss and recognize grief waves with honesty and hope.
    • Rebuild identity in Christ beyond marital status, shame, regret, or broken expectations.
    • Discern responsibility wisely without collapsing into condemnation or self-protection.

    Practice Wisdom and Stability

    • Stabilize urgent areas of life one faithful step at a time.
    • Understand the difference between forgiveness, reconciliation, trust, access, consequences, and safety.

    What This Course Is Not

Divorce Recovery does not provide counseling, legal advice, custody guidance, crisis response, or a decision about divorce, reconciliation, dating, or remarriage.

Instead, this course calls students to tell the truth about loss, seek the right kind of help, receive grace, own appropriate responsibility, protect children from adult conflict, establish wise boundaries, and rebuild daily life one faithful step at a time.
