    Can I get ordained online?

    You can complete much of your ministry training and ordination pathway online through Christian Leaders Institute and Christian Leaders Alliance. However, Christian Leaders Alliance ordination is not merely an online transaction. It also includes local endorsement and public commissioning in a real ministry context.

    Is Christian Leaders Alliance ordination instant?

    No. Christian Leaders Alliance does not treat ordination as an instant title. CLA ordination is study-based, endorsement-based, and locally commissioned. Students complete training, receive local affirmation, and are publicly prayed over before receiving recognition.

    What ordination roles are available?

    Christian Leaders Alliance offers several ministry role pathways, including Wedding Officiant, Officiant, Minister, Chaplain, and Life Coach Ministry Roles. Students may begin with one role and continue adding training and recognition as their calling develops.

    Do I need a degree to get ordained?

    A degree is not required for every ordination pathway. Many students begin with free ministry courses and role-based training through Christian Leaders Institute. Students who desire deeper academic preparation may continue into degree programs through Leadership Excellence School.

    What is local endorsement?

    Local endorsement means that someone who knows your Christian walk affirms your calling, character, and readiness for ministry. This may be a pastor, ministry leader, elder, mentor, spouse, church member, fellowship leader, Soul Center leader, or another qualified recommender.

    What is public commissioning?

    Public commissioning is the local prayer and sending moment where you are recognized and prayed over for ministry service. This may happen in a church, fellowship, home gathering, ministry setting, Soul Center, or another Christian community that affirms your calling.

    What is the difference between Christian Leaders Institute and Christian Leaders Alliance?

    Christian Leaders Institute provides free ministry training and courses. Christian Leaders Alliance provides the ordination and ministry credential pathway. CLI helps you prepare through study. CLA recognizes your completed pathway through role-based clergy or ministry recognition.

    What do I receive after completing an ordination pathway?

    Depending on your pathway, Christian Leaders Alliance recognizes the completion of your program by listing you in the Christian Leaders Alliance Public Directory. You are also welcome to purchase official clergy credentials including an ordination certificate, clergy or ministry ID, letter of good standing, role-based ministry credential, and other resources.

    Can I become ordained to officiate weddings?

    Yes. Many students pursue ordination as a Wedding Officiant through Christian Leaders Alliance. This pathway helps prepare you with ministry training, ceremony skills, legal awareness, local endorsement, and recognition for serving couples in wedding ministry.

    Can I become ordained as a chaplain, minister, or Life Coach Minister?

    Yes. Christian Leaders Alliance offers pathways for students called to serve as Chaplains, Ministers, and Life Coach Ministers. Each pathway includes study requirements, ministry preparation, local endorsement, and role-based recognition.

    Are the courses free?

    Christian Leaders Institute offers free ministry training courses. Optional credentials, ordination packages, printed documents, ID cards, and ministry materials may involve costs through Christian Leaders Alliance or the Christian Leaders Store.

    How long does it take to get ordained?

    The time depends on the ordination pathway you choose, the courses required, your pace of study, and how quickly you complete endorsement and commissioning steps. Some pathways are shorter and role-specific, while others involve more advanced ministry training.
