    Required resources
All required material for this course is here online. Mastering New Testament Greek by Dr. Ted Hildebrandt includes textbook, workbook, video presentations, and interactive exercises.

    Assignments
    1. Study the material for each unit.
You will probably learn best by going through the units interactive material first. You will see that the interactive program has Learn Menu (open book icon), Drill Menu (hammer icon), and Review Menu (pin icon). Work through the material in that order; first Learn, then Drill, then Review. If you want to view a segment more than once because you didn't quite get it all the first time, you can click the item on your menu and go through it as often as you wish. In addition to the interactive format for each unit, study the textbook chapter for the unit, which covers basically the same material as the interactive module. Make sure to memorize the vocabulary and other material for each unit. Then do the exercises in the Workbook; this gives you plenty of practice and repetition to make sure your learning is sinking in.
    2. Take the online quiz for each unit. The quiz is your opportunity to prove that you learned the Greek for that unit. Most quiz questions come from the interactive drills and/or Workbook. You will be well prepared for the quiz if you first do the interactive drill and review, then do the workbook exercises, and then take the quiz. On each regular quiz, you will have 75 minutes to answer 30 multiple-choice questions. You will have more time on quizzes with more questions. Once a quiz has started, you must finish it, and you can't retake it. So be ready ahead of time.
*The course has a total of 400 points: 30 points for each ordinary quiz in a unit with a new lesson, 40 points for each review quiz in units 4 and 8, and 50 points for the unit 12 major review.

    E. GRADING SCALE

Your average for the course must be at least 60%. Otherwise, you will fail the class and will receive no credit.

    Deadline
You have 180 days to finish the course. Complete all assignments before the final deadline, or you will be automatically unenrolled, and all course work will be removed. You will have to start over and take the class again to receive credit.

    Course Forum

Each course forum is at the beginning of the course, right before the first course content section, and has comments and questions from other students in the class. The forum is a great way to post a question or comment for other students who are currently enrolled in the course to see. Additionally, you can search the forum to see if anyone in the past has addressed or discussed the issue, question, or comment you were wanting to post about.

For most students, Greek is very hard and takes more time than other classes. So start the class as soon as you can, and stay ahead of schedule to allow yourself extra time.
