Are you called to bring Christ-centered presence, prayer, encouragement, accountability, hope, and practical care to people rebuilding their lives after incarceration, addiction, hardship, broken relationships, or major life disruption?

The Reentry and Restoration Chaplain Ordination Program prepares called Christian leaders to serve as ordained chaplains who walk alongside individuals, families, and communities seeking restoration, reconciliation, stability, and renewed purpose in Christ.

    Program Purpose

This program equips Christian leaders with the calling, character, knowledge, skills, and accountability needed to serve as trusted spiritual care providers in reentry and restoration ministry settings.

Reentry and restoration chaplaincy is a ministry of faithful presence, patient encouragement, wise listening, prayer by permission, Scripture-guided hope, practical support, and referral awareness.

Rather than replacing counseling, treatment programs, legal services, parole supervision, social work, housing assistance, or medical care, the chaplain comes alongside people with Christian compassion, encouragement, accountability, and connections to appropriate support.

  • ✝️ What Is a Soul Center?
Reentry and Restoration Chaplains and Soul Centers
A Soul Center within the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) is a locally registered Christian religious society designed to serve a specific community or relational circle with Spirit-led presence, discipleship, pastoral care, and practical ministry support.

Soul Centers are led by credentialed ministers, including Ordained Reentry and Restoration Chaplains, who are trained and recognized through the Christian Leaders Alliance. Each leader affirms the CLA Statement of Faith and follows best practices outlined in the Soul Center Handbook.

The core purpose of a Soul Center is to function as a local expression of the Church—a gathering and ministry hub where the love of Christ is demonstrated through biblical teaching, pastoral chaplaincy, prayer, discipleship, restoration support, and community connection.

For Reentry and Restoration Chaplains, Soul Centers can become a steady bridge between people rebuilding their lives and Christ-centered spiritual encouragement. They may support returning citizens, families, recovery communities, mentoring relationships, outreach ministries, and people seeking restoration after hardship, addiction, incarceration, broken relationships, grief, or major life disruption.

🕊️ The Role of the Reentry and Restoration Chaplain in a Soul Center

    • Providing spiritual care and pastoral presence for people rebuilding their lives after incarceration, addiction, hardship, grief, family breakdown, or major transition
    • Offering prayer, Scripture encouragement, mentoring, and discipleship support in a consent-based, role-aware way
    • Encouraging dignity, accountability, restoration, and faithful next steps
    • Supporting families, caregivers, mentors, and community partners involved in restoration ministry
    • Extending Christ’s compassion through listening, practical encouragement, referral awareness, and connection to local churches and appropriate support services
    • Serving with clear boundaries, confidentiality awareness, safety wisdom, and respect for legal, counseling, treatment, and social-service roles

Whether encouraging someone after release, supporting a family in restoration, praying with a person in recovery, or offering steady presence in a difficult transition, the Ordained Reentry and Restoration Chaplain brings Christ-centered hope with clarity, compassion, accountability, and wise boundaries.
