Presentations from Khan Academy and Materials from Wikipedia
with Lectures from Business LeadersOverview
This course teaches money management and dynamics of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of different degrees of uncertainty and risk. Topics include debt, investment, interest, mortgages, retirement accounts, financial dangers, currency, and foreign exchange market.
This two-part class covers the essentials of finance as understood in a western globalized locale with many principles transferable in our global environment.
Christian leaders are called to take responsibility for the enterprises that fit their situations. Some will receive their support from a ministry, others will need to work at or start a business. All leaders need to know finances, whether they are leading a local ministry or supplying their own needs so they can lead at a local ministry.
The Khan Academy has been developing high-quality college level materials since 2006. We will link to their resources for our lectures in these classes. We will also make use of Wikipedia resources. These open source materials have steadily increased in quality and we are comfortable featuring these resources.
