Submit your 3 Recommendations
IMPORTANT NOTE: To avoid issues in grading your endorser assignment. Please submit all three endorsements at one time, like in the example below. We only receive notification of the assignment submission the first time. If it is not complete and we need you to add the additional submissions you will also have to notify us through helpdesk so we can re-grade the assignment.
In preparation for ordination as a credentialed ministry deacon, you will email your three Christian endorsers (These endorsers may also be the ones that will pray for God's blessing at an ordination event) and ask them:
"Why do you think my walk, temperament, character, and calling show that I am called to be a ministry leader?" Then you will copy and paste their answers in the assignment.
Copy and paste their response to why he or she thinks your walk, temperament, character, and calling shows that you are called into ministry.
The three recommendations must come from the following:
- One from a deacon, elder, or pastor.
- One from your spouse or a friend if unmarried
- One from a non-family member that knows you and respects you
This is a required activity to receive your ordination credential and your ordination as a ministry deacon!
For each endorser, it is required that you include their name, contact information, and what their relationship is to you (spouse, mentor, mentor minister, long-time friend, fellow church member, pastor, etc.).
Students are responsible to keep copies of their recommendation letters for future reference or if they would need to supply them to someone in the future. Christian Leaders Ministries will not retain these letters once you have received a grade for the ordination or ordination role.

To whom it may concern,
I wholeheartedly endorse Steve for ordination at Christian Leaders Alliance. I have known Steve for many years and I have had the privilege to do ministry with him on many occasions regarding Christian retreats in our community, various Bible studies, and Sunday worship together. Steve is consistently well organized, professional and prepared in all his endeavors and responsibilities. Most importantly, Steve displays exceptional wisdom, discernment and empathy as he lovingly leads others into a deeper and mature relationship with Jesus Christ. Steve lives out his faith in his relationship with his family, friends, church body, and community. I am very excited to see the next steps God has in store for Steve as he continues his studies and certifications.
I have watched Steve grow so much over the past few years in his Christian walk and have for a long time envisioned him in some sort of ministry role. I could give you many reasons for why I believe he would be a wonderful Life Coach, honestly, he would be wonderful in many roles but after walking through some very difficult situations in our life, together, I know that this would be a great fit for him. I have seen Steve walk alongside many men within our church, community, and his job when they are struggling with different things and he has guided them with grace, love, mercy, and done a great job of holding them accountable. I have seen many of these lives transformed for the better because of things that Steve has done to help them.
I personally have been blessed by Steve's strong faith and trust in the Lord. 3 years ago, he walked alongside me during my battle with breast cancer. Right from the beginning he told me that he believed God was in it right from the beginning and that He would carry me/us through it as long as we trusted in Him. He helped me put my faith over my fear, and kept me looking at the positive, not all of the negative that comes along with this difficult diagnosis.
Nine months ago, we walked through a difficult season together as Steve's son was in a coma. From the time we received the call about this, Steve's first response was, he is in God's hands, God is the only one that can heal him and we are going to trust Him to carry Carson as well as us and his mother and stepfather through this. He kept telling me and others that no matter the outcome all the glory would be Gods. If we lost him we wanted to be an example of how to suffer well through the loss of a child with the help of God and other believers. If God performed a miracle and brought Carson out of the coma we wanted to show others just how great our God is and give him all the glory! Thankfully He performed a miracle and Carson is still with us and ALL THE GLORY IS HIS!!!!.
Steve has been part of a Christian movement for the last several years in which he has had the opportunity to speak to and lead several men over a 3 day weekend retreat. I have watched so many men's lives transformed through this movement and the leadership that Steve has provided. He has a deep passion for wanting to help other men become warriors for Christ, to be strong leaders within their homes, work, church, and communities.
Steve is very motivated to follow the path that God has placed him on to become a ministry leader and I have no doubt in my mind that he will work hard at his studies and will be a wonderful ministry leader.

To whom it may concern:
I am writing with sincere appreciation for the opportunity to endorse Steve as a Christian Leader for your program. I have served alongside Steve for the last eight years as part of a Christian community whose primary mission is to build up Christian Leaders in the local church. This community seeks to build those Christian Leaders through three day retreats, regularly scheduled mentorship and accountability groups as well as small group initiatives with fellow brothers resulting in study development opportunities for both men and married couples. In that time, Steve has impressed upon me his genuine commitment to the leadership and development of others for the Kingdom and stands as a model for others to emulate.
Steve’s depth of leadership is founded continually in grace as he chooses to walk out his faith with the blessing of assurance. His leadership qualities include biblical courage, accountability to a Christian influence, genuine humility, resounding listening skills, healthy self-control and unwavering Christlike integrity. As a result, Steve has become a respected voice in our local community who, with consistency, influences and impacts others for Jesus. I admire Steve's ability - and more importantly his willingness - to carry out the mission of Christ in such an honoring and fruitful manner. Steve utilizes his genuine joy and kindness as part of his leadership style to invite other shareholders' value into the building of community events such as our three day retreats in the fall and spring of each year. The product of those initiatives has been such a blessing for so many and is a continual provision of God’s amazing grace.
Steve has demonstrated through his daily walk a Kingdom focused mindset. As challenges arise in his personal life, I have seen Steve respond with the steadfast resilience of Christlike character. The impact of that has been a bonding agent, not only for him personally, but for so many who look to Steve for authentic Christlike leadership. The patience with which he engages those challenges is faithful to his call and he carries about him a sense of peace that God will deliver for him just the right outcome at just the right moment. In doing so, Steve leads with confidence through transparent authenticity.
Finally, Steve’s thirst for Godly wisdom and his ability to apply and communicate those truths with a gentle touch has shined in his service of others. His insight into biblical truths continues to grow and his unique conversational interactions produce a safe environment to engage in - what can be difficult for most at times - study. It is in that thoughtfulness that Steve is able to remove barriers of interaction that might have previously existed and invite others to dig deeper as well.
I sincerely admire Steve and count it a privilege to have been mentored by him. I am thankful for his Christian leadership and look forward to seeing him grow in his role impacting others for the Kingdom.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me further if you feel the need.
