The Ordained Minister Program offers a comprehensive curriculum of ministry training, combining both ministry skill courses and college-level coursework. Ordained Ministers are well-prepared for volunteer or part-time ministry roles within churches, community organizations, or as leaders in various ministry contexts.
This program requires three recommendations as part of the credentialing and commissioning process, reflecting the candidate’s readiness and commitment to this significant responsibility.

- New Testament Survey (3 Units)
Pastoral Skills Development:
- Wedding Officiant Skills (1 Module)
- Funeral Officiant Skills (2 Modules)
- Ministry Officiant Skills (3 Modules) or Advanced Officiant Ministry Skills (2 Modules)
- Pre-Marriage Counseling Skills (1 Module)
- Parenting Skills (1 Module)
- People Smart for Ministry (3 Units)
- Ministry Sciences and Communications (3 Units)
3. Fulfill Level 3 Endorsement
Candidates must complete the Level 3 Endorsement, which includes two recommendations to verify their readiness for this advanced role.
Recognition and Commissioning
Upon completion of the required coursework and endorsements:
- You will be recognized as an Ordained Minister by the Christian Leaders Alliance.
- Your profile will be updated to reflect your new role and published on the Christian Leaders Alliance website.
