In Romans 15, the apostle Paul said that his sole ambition was to preach Christ  where he was not known you. My sole option is to raise our ministers to praise  Christ. I was dreaming, and I saw people as far as my eye could see, and  somebody walked up to me and said, make those ministers. They're the ones.  Train them. Woke up and he said, Wow, I had most amazing dreams. I was  pregnant and we had a five year old and a two year old. While we were in  Colorado, a neighbor came up to me as I was shooting baskets, and he tried to  get me into Amway. So we were fairly on ourselves in the ministry at that point.  But we we thought, Well, Lord, if the Lord gives us a call, he will equip us and  show us when the time is for it. So, but I thought to myself, I want to see how  ordinary people can reproduce the faith like this. Amway distributor tried to get  me into Amway. He is one that is willing to try things and willing to change and  also, most of all, willing to follow what God is calling him to do. I sent it back to  Amway corporate headquarters, asking Rich DeVos if he would mentor me in  making disciples and having reproducible disciples to share the gospel  everywhere in the world. Rich said yes, that would be a confirmation that this  book's direction. Henry should go and within a day, his executive secretary said,  Mr. DeVos is willing to mentor you and help you figure out how to get more  people to reproduce their faith. That started a mentorship of 1993 Rich DeVos  was 68 years old. I was 32 years old, so I was on a mission with the Bible  league to go to Manhattan, New York. It was September 10, 2001 the next thing  was September 11. And as I was seeing the burning buildings, the intensity of  the Holy Spirit said, it's time to get serious about mobilizing and multiplying  ministers, the internet was just coming to a place where it could offer online  training. This online training could be scalable and free. the education space is  one that's not traditionally filled with innovation, but I think younger people desire to see a change in the options that they have presented before them. Where do  the downtrodden or the people that live paycheck to paycheck? Where do they  get an education? Right? So I called up Rich DeVos and said, Rich that one  piece, the ministry training piece that has to be available, and it's going to be the internet Rich. What do you know about the internet? Haven't read I said, I don't  know anything, but I will learn. I see the value in a growing, challenging ministry  and a willingness to do new things and try new things. So I saw that in you as a  willingness to do things different. So I've always my wife and I, we've always had a passion for education and for scholarships. When I met you, it looked like the  ability to really leverage donations differently, instead of gifting to something that was static and only did one thing I saw in CLI that we were trying to reach  people for Christ in lots of different ways, so we launched Christian leaders  Institute in 2006, 6 students. But the next year was 26 then 120 students. And  by 2011 it was 1000 students. And things were multiplying. Since 2012 11 years  further, we have surpassed 600,000 now this story is what God can do. We put  this training on there. The training is free. A lot of my peers have tons and tons

of college debt that's been extremely debilitating to start their life, whether  they're faced with buying a home or starting a family, having that debt can be so  crippling, and I think that most of us kind of feel that tug that there has to be a  better way to do this, I do see the future of education costs being reduced for  everyone. It's a story of multiplication, but with this new it has to be donor  generated, so that it's accessible. No matter where somebody's coming from,  maybe they've come from addiction. They've come from broken marriages,  death, divorce, whatever it is, but God shows up and changes their life, and  most of all, he places a calling in their heart. I graduated from special education, and I had a first grade level. I was a drug dealer in my hometown. I was also a  user. I have three older brothers and a younger sister, and we all grew up in a  trailer, very, very, very poor with a single mom who was also a meth addict for  most of my younger years. You're almost 40, you have a family, you have a  career, ministry, dates are really behind you, and you can't uproot your family  and go to seminary. You can't uproot your family and go to college. At this point,  when I was 18 years old, I went to Tampa for a weekend, and I wound up being  trafficked. Once I was able to escape that, I came home and was introduced to  crack cocaine getting out of high school. I was looking at the tuition rates, and I  just remember feeling this, this feeling of kind of dread. It was everyone at the  church was saying, this is what you got to do. It was the expectation, you know,  you got to go to school and you got to go into debt. That's just what everybody  does. I had no job, I had no education, I had no money, I had no home, and I  had four kids. Come from a foster home, there's 25 of us all together. There was actually no way to pay for pay for school. I ended up homeless. I did some  research, and I found this little school called Christian Leaders Institute, and like  what you know, those it's too good to be true. Well, you think that when you hear free education, free college education, like it can't possibly be true, but I'll check  it out. I liked what I saw. I loved the classes I saw chaplaincy, and it was all over  for me, because it's exactly what I was looking for. I found out then was that I  could actually take courses while I was still working. And so I had a really good  career in business. And so I would work all day long, come home, spend time  with my family, and then when they would go to bed, I would spend an hour or  two doing some studies each night, ministry came into the ministry with the  caller. The caller was to speak and preach God's word to a population that he  was being involved I just remember my eyes lighting up because it's hey, here's  another route that nobody has told me about. I didn't even know it existed, and it completely aligns with what my calling is. My name is Greg Smith. I'm a member of Christian Leaders Institute. My name is Amanda Chavez, and I am a student  at CLI I am also an ordained minister through their Christian leaders Alliance, I  would not take my journey back ever now I can Go back to those very same  streets and everybody know, that's Miss Leslie, I can go places and speak to  people and say things and help them to see the better in themselves is through

the development of effective leadership that we can share the gospel of Jesus  Christ effectively. Hi, I'm Leslie Harrell. I'm a student with Christian leaders  Institute. Our youngest daughter, Abby, was an excellent student in high school.  Wanted to study at Christian leaders Institute. She could have gone anywhere. I  could not be in high school for the journey of also being a student of Christian  leaders and then taking that degree and continuing with one of our partner  schools to get the dual masters. I was pleased when Abby's bachelor degree  with Christian leaders Institute was accepted at Ohio Christian University, and  she could go and study there to get her double masters in ministry and  business. Training is free. In other words, in other words, there are no barriers to multiplication. If someone is called in the ministry, they can check this out. If  someone senses that they have something to do for the Lord, we will help them  get trained. Our goal is to raise up operatives of hope, to raise up more  operatives of hope that the gospel is proclaimed everywhere. Are you called to  support those called into ministry? We will multiply your impact. Are you called  into ministry? We will train you.
