If you feel called to help people start, grow, or restore romantic relationships rooted in Christ, becoming a Romance Officiant is a powerful ministry path. This role allows you to serve singles, engaged couples, married couples, and those renewing their vows—all while pointing them to God’s design for love and commitment.

📘 Step 1: Complete the Required Courses

Enroll at Christian Leaders Institute and take these two foundational modules:

👫 What You’ll Be Trained to Do

As a Romance Officiant, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Provide guidance for Christ-centered romantic relationships.

  • Mentor couples preparing for marriage or seeking to strengthen their current relationship.

  • Support vow renewals and spiritual reconnection for married couples.

  • Serve as a church or community resource for healthy relationship development and enrichment.

🤝 Step 2: Secure One Recommendation

To complete the ordination process with the Christian Leaders Alliance, you’ll need one recommendation from someone who knows your faith and character.

📜 Step 3: Receive Your Romance Officiant Ordination

Once you complete the courses and submit your recommendation:

  • You’ll be ordained as a Romance Officiant through the Christian Leaders Alliance.

  • You’ll be listed in the CLA Clergy Directory, giving public recognition to your calling and credential.
