Become a Wedding Officiant

👰 How to Become an Ordained Wedding Officiant

Study-Based Credential through Christian Leaders Institute & Ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance

If you feel called to officiate weddings and bring couples together under God's design for marriage, the Wedding Officiant program is a great place to start. This role is often the first step into broader ministry opportunities.

📘 Step 1: Enroll in the Wedding Officiant Skills Course (1 module) - If you do not have a free study account, enrolling this class will prompt you to set up an account.

Begin by enrolling in the Wedding Officiant Skills Course at Christian Leaders Institute.

  • The course is only 1 module and teaches you everything you need to know to officiate weddings with confidence and clarity.

  • Topics include how to meet with couples, plan a ceremony, write a wedding message, and understand the spiritual meaning of marriage.

🤝 Step 2: Secure One Recommendation through a reference.

To become ordained with the Christian Leaders Alliance, you’ll need to receive one reference from someone who can affirm your character and calling. This could be a pastor, mentor, or trusted Christian leader who knows you well.

📜 Step 3: Receive Officiant Ordination

Once you've completed the course and submitted your recommendation:

  • You’ll be officially ordained as a Wedding Officiant through the Christian Leaders Alliance.

  • Your name will be listed in the global clergy directory, giving you recognized status as a Christian wedding officiant.

🌱 Why This Role Matters

Becoming a Wedding Officiant:
