✝️ What Is the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA)?

A Global Clergy Movement of Volunteer, Part-Time, and Full-Time Ministers

The Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) is the global credentialing body of Christian Leaders Ministries—recognizing and mobilizing everyday Christians who are locally endorsed, Spirit-called, and globally supported to serve as clergy.

The CLA exists for one purpose:

To multiply Christian leaders everywhere through a free-access, biblically grounded, locally endorsed ordination pathway.

CLA is built on three core pillars:

  1. Free ministry training through the Christian Leaders Institute
(Christian Development School + Leadership Excellence School).
  2. Local endorsement and integrity verification.
  3. Global recognition as clergy through ecuministry ordination.

The Christian Leaders Alliance is a Christian religious society (Church) offering a ministry study-based program of ordination. It is not a traditional denomination, but it works alongside churches and denominations through our ecuministry approach. For those without a local church or denominational home, CLA provides Soul Centers—local religious societies that offer community, credibility, and connection for grassroots ordained leaders.

This is not expensive seminary education—it is rigorous training and endorsement-based ordination offered through a grassroots, global movement.

This is the Acts 2 model of God’s people being raised up to lead, serve, and make disciples.

🕊️ Step One: Complete This Course & Become a Catechumen

The Ancient, Biblical Beginning of Every Ordination Journey

Every clergy pathway begins with the historic and biblical status of a Catechumen
a disciple-learner entering a season of:

  • spiritual formation
  • ministry discernment
  • foundational study
  • local endorsement
  • openness to the Spirit’s call

Catechumen with the Christian Leaders Alliance is:

A Christian leader in formation, preparing for an ordained role within the Alliance clergy pathways.

By completing the Multiplying Christian Leaders Getting Started Course, you will:

  • Begin your training and credentialing journey
  • Receive basic ministry preparation, including how to craft a mission-focused testimony
  • Review the Christian Leaders Alliance Statement of Faith
  • Begin discerning your ministry identity
  • Be invited to seek a reference to begin the endorsement process

After this, Catechumens may enter one of the four ordained clergy categories.

🕊️ The Four Categories of CLA Clergy

1. Officiants (Gateway Clergy)

Volunteer clergy serving in life events:

  • Wedding Officiant (most popular gateway credential)
  • Romance Officiant
  • Funeral Officiant
  • Ministry Officiant
  • Faith Officiant
  • Officiating Minister
  • Youth Officiant
  • Christian Officiant

These roles meet real needs and often ignite a deeper calling to ministry.

2. Ministers

These clergy are trained in preaching, pastoral care, and leadership:

  • Field Minister
  • Licensed Minister
  • Ordained Minister
  • Minister of the Word (vocational clergy pathway)

The Minister of the Word (Launching January 1, 2026)

This is the highest study-based ordination offered by Christian Leaders Alliance.

Unlike the volunteer and part-time clergy roles, this pathway is designed for those called into full vocational ministry. It aligns with expectations for ministry positions within churches and denominations.

It includes:

  • a rigorous college-level degree through the Leadership Excellence School
  • 3–4 years of coursework
  • three local endorsements
  • a Ministry Discernment Practicum

Although all academic courses remain free, this vocational program carries sustainability fees.

The program’s accreditation and academic strength make it possible for graduates to enter Master’s degree programs at institutions like Liberty University and other partner schools.

Cost: Approximately $4,000 for developed nations; reduced rates for developing nations.

3. Chaplains

Chaplains serve specialized environments and bring presence, peace, and pastoral care into secular settings.

  • Officiating Chaplain (general chaplaincy training for volunteer clergy)
  • Ministry Chaplain
  • Kingdom Chaplain
  • Fire/EMS Chaplain
  • Christmas Chaplain
  • Truck Stop Chaplain (Early 2026)
  • Public School Chaplain
  • Corrections Chaplain (Released in 2026)

4. Ministry Coaches

A new clergy category focused on Spirit-led, non-directive coaching:

  • Ministry Coaching Minister
  • Life Coaching Minister
  • Romance Coaching Minister
  • Identity Coaching (2026)
  • Relationships Peace Coaching (Early 2026)

These ministers help others experience transformation through biblically grounded coaching.

🌍 Soul Centers

Local Expressions of the Global CLA Clergy Movement

Soul Center is a local or online ministry led by an ordained CLA clergy member.

Soul Centers may be:

  • house churches
  • micro-schools or micro-churches
  • youth ministries
  • marriage ministries
  • prison ministries
  • discipleship hubs
  • online ministry groups
  • evangelism or outreach teams

Soul Centers multiply ministry through:

  • officiant services (weddings, funerals, visitations, baptisms and dedications)
  • discipleship
  • pastoral care and ministry practices
  • family ministry
  • leadership development
  • ministry skills practice
  • raising up new Christian Leaders and Catechumens

They are the on-the-ground expression of the CLA’s global launch strategy.

The vision:

A multiplying, volunteer-driven clergy movement reaching every community on earth.

Built on:

  • Connection
  • Teaching
  • Prayer
  • Encouragement
  • Discipleship
  • Leadership training

This gathering serves as a global spiritual home for the CLA community—

🌟 Why the Christian Leaders Alliance Matters Today

Because the world needs…

  • more pastors
  • more chaplains
  • more officiants
  • more coaches
  • more ministers
  • more everyday Christians who say “Yes, Lord.”

All without the cost barriers, gatekeeping, or institutional obstacles that stop so many from answering God’s call.

CLA is restoring the early church model—

Spirit-filled, locally endorsed, globally recognized clergy serving everywhere.
