We regularly publish inspiring stories to encourage others and promote the opportunity for free Corrections Chaplain training and ordained clergy recognition. Your testimony can help others explore their calling and take the next step with Christian Leaders.

When writing your story, please include the following elements:

  • How becoming an Ordained Corrections Chaplain will help you serve incarcerated people, returning citizens, correctional staff (as permitted), and families impacted by incarceration—and fulfill your calling
  • Why you are pursuing this specific Corrections Chaplain credential through the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA)
  • A reflection on the spiritual journey that led you to this point in ministry
  • How this program is motivating you to pursue further training or credentials at Christian Leaders
  • Which additional courses or programs you are interested in exploring (examples: Theology, Ministry Coaching, Reentry Ministry, Addiction Recovery Ministry, Officiant Skills, Church Planting, Pastoral Care, or other chaplain specializations)
  • How this free training and the Ordained Corrections Chaplain program have shaped and prepared you for ministry (boundaries, policy awareness, discipleship skills, presence in crisis, integrity, compassion)
