It is designed as a self-paced online correspondence program and may also be completed with the support of a spouse, minister, chaplain, ministry coach, counselor, mentor, or other trusted observer.

Purpose of the Program

The purpose of this program is to help participants:

  • understand anger and its causes
  • identify personal anger triggers
  • recognize unhealthy reaction patterns
  • develop healthier responses in thoughts, words, and relationships
  • build habits that support peace, self-control, and personal responsibility
  • demonstrate observed growth through an endorsement process

This program is designed not only for course completion, but also for documented progress, accountability, and meaningful personal growth.

Program Structure

The Anger Management Program includes two levels.

Level 1: Anger Reset Credential

The first level is the Anger Reset Credential.

Participants begin by completing the Anger Reset course through the Christian Development School at Christian Leaders Institute. This course is designed to be practical, accessible, and supportive. It is commonly completed over approximately nine weeks. Quizzes in this course may be taken more than once, allowing participants to work toward understanding and successful completion.

Level 1 also includes the following program steps:

  • Student Credibility Step — Participants establish themselves as serious students within the Christian Leaders Institute learning community.
  • Commitment to a Path of Peace — Participants affirm their intention to pursue healthier and more peaceful responses.
  • Endorsement of Growth — After course completion, participants request an endorsement from a person who has observed their progress in real life.

This endorsement may come from a spouse, minister, chaplain, ministry coach, counselor, mentor, trusted friend, or another person who can honestly speak to the participant’s growth.

Observed Growth and Accountability
