🎥 Video 1A Transcript: Welcome to Build a Life Coach Ministry Practice

Hi, I am Haley, a Christian Leaders Institute presenter.

Welcome to Build a Life Coach Ministry Practice.

This course is designed for Christian leaders who want to serve people with care, discernment, transformation, and commissioning through consent-based Christian life coaching.

Many people already encourage others naturally. They listen to friends. They pray with family members. They give wise counsel in small groups. They notice when someone is struggling. They want to help.

That is beautiful.

But this course is about moving from informal encouragement into a more accountable ministry practice.

Life Coach Ministry Practice is not just having helpful conversations. It is an organized Christian ministry expression where a trained leader serves with biblical clarity, role boundaries, consent-based guidance, confidentiality awareness, referral readiness, and spiritual accountability.

This course is especially designed for those pursuing or serving in two Christian Leaders Alliance roles:

The Ordained Life Coach Minister.

And the Ordained Advanced Life Coach Minister.

The Ordained Life Coach Minister is trained and recognized to offer Christian life coaching ministry with prayerful listening, practical guidance, biblical encouragement, role clarity, and referral awareness.

The Ordained Advanced Life Coach Minister builds on that foundation with deeper preparation in whole-person discernment, trusted referral team development, formation pathways, church or Soul Center practice building, and the 15-aspect discernment grid.

Both roles are ministry roles.

That is important.

This course is not training you to become a therapist. It is not counseling licensure. It is not medical, legal, financial, or crisis-response training. It is Christian life coaching ministry.

A Life Coach Minister serves as a minister who coaches, not a therapist who treats.

You will learn how to listen before leading. You will learn how to ask wise questions. You will learn how to explain confidentiality and its limits. You will learn how to use Scripture without pressure. You will learn how to recommend courses, books, growth handbooks, prayer rhythms, Bible memory, worship, Bible studies, and other formation pathways.

You will also learn when a person needs support beyond your role.

Sometimes the faithful next step is not another coaching session. Sometimes the faithful next step is referral to a pastor, counselor, physician, attorney, financial counselor, crisis resource, recovery group, grief support ministry, caregiving resource, or another trusted helper.

That is not failure.

That is wise ministry.

Throughout this course, we will use the pathway of Care, Discernment, Transformation, and Commissioning.

Care means receiving the person with prayerful listening and safety.

Discernment means noticing what is happening beneath the surface without reducing the person to one problem.

Transformation means helping the person take Spirit-led next steps in Christ.

Commissioning means helping the person live out growth through calling, relationships, church, kingdom service, and witness.

This course will also help you think about where your Life Coach Ministry Practice may be located.

Some students may serve through a local church.

Some may serve through a Soul Center.

Some may serve through a chaplaincy setting, home-based ministry, online ministry, small group, or community care context.

The setting may vary. But the calling is the same: serve with clarity, humility, wisdom, and love.

As you move through this course, do not only ask, “What information am I learning?”

Ask, “What kind of minister am I becoming?”

A Life Coach Minister is not called to control people. A Life Coach Minister is called to serve people.

A Life Coach Minister does not replace the Holy Spirit. A Life Coach Minister listens, prays, asks, notices, encourages, and helps people take faithful next steps under the Lordship of Christ.

Welcome to Build a Life Coach Ministry Practice.

May this course help you become a more faithful, wise, humble, and prepared Christian leader.
