Hi, I am Haley, a Christian Leaders Institute presenter.
In this video, we will talk about helping people take Spirit-led next steps.
In Life Coach Ministry Practice, discernment is not the final destination. Discernment helps a person see more clearly, but transformation begins when that person starts walking in a new direction with God.
A Life Coach Minister does not merely help someone understand their problem. The Life Coach Minister helps the person move toward faithful action, spiritual growth, and practical obedience.
A person may say, “I never realized how much fear controls me.”
That is discernment.
The next question is, “What faithful step can you take with God this week?”
That is movement toward transformation.
A person may say, “I see now that I keep blaming my wife instead of taking responsibility for my tone.”
That is discernment.
The next question is, “What would repentance look like in your next conversation?”
That is movement toward transformation.
Transformation is not pressure. It is not performance. It is not the Life Coach Minister forcing someone to change.
Christian transformation is Spirit-led growth in response to truth, grace, conviction, and hope.
Romans 12:2 says, “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
A Spirit-led next step should usually be clear, small, faithful, and realistic.
Sometimes people want everything fixed immediately: the marriage, the anger, the grief, the calling, or the habit.
But faithful growth often begins with one obedient step.
That step may be apologizing without defending yourself.
It may be praying honestly for five minutes each morning.
It may be attending worship again.
It may be memorizing one verse.
It may be taking a Christian Leaders Institute course.
It may be contacting a counselor, calling a pastor, joining a Bible study, or asking forgiveness.
Simple does not mean shallow.
A small faithful step can become the doorway to a new pattern.
In Organic Humans language, transformation happens in the whole person. A person is an embodied soul before God. Spiritual growth touches thoughts, words, habits, relationships, bodies, homes, calendars, finances, churches, and daily practices.
So the Life Coach Minister may ask:
“What do you believe God is inviting you to do next?”
“What is one faithful step you can take before our next conversation?”
“What support would help you follow through?”
“What Scripture could guide you this week?”
The posture is guidance with consent, not control.
What not to do?
Do not rush transformation before care has happened.
Do not turn every conversation into an assignment.
Do not shame slow growth.
Do not promise quick results.
Do not take responsibility for the person’s obedience.
And do not forget that some next steps require referral, not just coaching.
If someone is in danger, facing abuse, experiencing severe mental distress, dealing with addiction, or needing legal, medical, or financial counsel, the Life Coach Minister stays in role and helps connect the person with fitting support.
Life coaching ministry helps people take faithful next steps under the lordship of Christ.
The goal is not self-improvement for self-glory.
The goal is a life increasingly surrendered to God, healed by grace, shaped by Scripture, strengthened by community, and sent into love.
