🎥 Video 14A Transcript: Building Your Micro Church Launch Portfolio

Hi, I am Henry Reyenga, a Christian Leaders Institute presenter.

In this video, we will talk about building your Micro Church Launch Portfolio.

A launch portfolio is not busywork. It is a ministry readiness tool. It helps you gather your calling, your plan, your oversight, your safety practices, your gathering rhythm, and your next steps into one clear document.

Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.” That does not mean every plan happens exactly the way we imagine. It means faithful planning should be surrendered to God. We plan with humility, prayer, and dependence on the Lord.

Your portfolio should begin with a simple identity. What is the working name of your micro church? What is the one-sentence description? Who are you called to serve? Is this a house church, neighborhood church, daughter micro church, workplace gathering, digital fellowship, village gathering, or Soul Center micro church?

Then clarify your mission field. Describe the people, place, or network God has put on your heart. Do not simply say, “Everyone.” Be more specific. Neighbors in your apartment complex. Young families in your rural community. Coworkers open to prayer. A diaspora community. A group of people disconnected from church life.

Next, name your connection. Is this micro church connected to a local church, a pastor, an elder team, a ministry mentor, or a registered Soul Center pathway? Who will know what you are doing? Who can guide you? Who can correct you? Who can encourage you?

Your portfolio should also include your gathering rhythm. How often will you meet? What will happen when you gather? How will Scripture, prayer, worship, fellowship, care, table life, and witness be practiced?

A common mistake is writing a portfolio that sounds impressive but is not usable. Keep it practical. Your plan should help you actually plant.

Also include safety and boundary practices. How will children be protected? How will confidentiality be handled? What needs will require referral? What ministry functions require a credentialed or ordained leader?

Finally, include your leadership multiplication plan. Who might become a helper, apprentice, host, Scripture reader, prayer leader, or future planter?

Your Micro Church Launch Portfolio helps turn vision into accountable action. It is a prayerful map for small, faithful, gospel-centered ministry.
