📝 Worksheet 6.4: New Age and Earth-Based Spirituality Conversation Map

Purpose of This Worksheet

This worksheet helps you prepare for ministry conversations with people shaped by New Age spirituality, Wicca, Neo-Paganism, earth-based spirituality, goddess spirituality, crystals, astrology, tarot, chakras, manifestation, energy language, ritual practices, and spiritual-but-not-religious beliefs.

The goal is not to mock, panic, or become an expert in every practice. The goal is to listen deeply, discern the altar, compare without caricature, protect dignity, stay within your ministry role, and offer Christ-centered clarity with humility and courage. This follows the course pattern for American comparative religion ministry conversations.

Use this worksheet as a field-ready tool for pastoral care, chaplaincy, wedding officiant conversations, funeral conversations, ministry coaching, Soul Center conversations, recovery ministry, youth and young adult ministry, and discipleship settings.

“I can listen, ask good questions, pray if welcomed, and help you think about a wise next step.”

“I am not here to mock you, force prayer, or turn this into a debate.”

“I also want to be honest that Christians worship the Creator, not creation.”

Step 5: Protect Safety and Boundaries
