In this topic, we are looking at weddings through the lens of Ministry Sciences.

A Christian Wedding Officiant does more than show up, read a script, lead vows, sign documents, and pronounce a couple married.

The officiant observes.

The officiant listens.

The officiant discerns.

The officiant notices what is happening spiritually, relationally, emotionally, socially, legally, and covenantally.

The officiant gently says, “I love that you want the ceremony to be beautiful. Let’s also make sure the beauty serves the vows you are making before God.”
