🎥 Video 11C Transcript: Low-Cost Promotion

Hi, I am Henry Reyenga, founder of Christian Leaders Institute.

You do not need a large advertising budget to begin promoting a wedding officiant ministry. Many wedding ministries grow through trust, word of mouth, simple online presence, local relationships, and faithful follow-up.

Low-cost promotion begins with word of mouth. Tell people clearly what you do. Tell your pastor, church leaders, friends, family, small group members, ministry contacts, and local Christian couples. You might say, “I am developing a Christian wedding ministry to help brides and grooms prepare for meaningful covenant ceremonies.” People cannot refer what they do not understand.

Second, create a simple website or landing page. It does not need to be complicated. Include who you are, what you offer, your ceremony approach, your location, how couples contact you, and a few helpful answers to common questions. Use phrases couples may search for, such as Christian wedding officiant, wedding minister, premarriage ceremony preparation, covenant wedding ceremony, and wedding officiant near me.

Third, ask for reviews and testimonials when appropriate. After serving a couple well, you may say, “If this ceremony blessed you, a short review would help other couples understand my ministry.” Reviews build trust because couples often listen to other couples.

Fourth, build referral relationships. Meet venue owners, photographers, planners, florists, musicians, premarriage mentors, pastors, and local church administrators. Do not treat them as tools. Treat them as neighbors. Ask how you can help weddings go smoothly. Be reliable. Return messages. Show up early. Lead calmly. Vendors remember peaceful officiants.

Fifth, be present locally. Attend community events, church gatherings, marriage nights, bridal expos if appropriate, coffee shop conversations, and ministry networking opportunities. Local presence matters because wedding ministry is relational.

A common mistake is thinking promotion means posting constantly online. Another mistake is relying only on social media and neglecting real relationships. The best promotion is faithful service that people gladly talk about.

Proverbs 22:1 says, “A good name is more desirable than great riches.” Your reputation is part of your ministry. Build it slowly. Build it honestly. Build it through beauty, reliability, covenant clarity, and loving service.

Low-cost promotion is not low-value promotion. It may be the most trustworthy promotion of all.
