🎥 Video 12B Transcript: Website, Content, Social Media, and Marriage Resources

Hi, I am Henry Reyenga, founder of Christian Leaders Institute.

A wedding ministry needs a public doorway. For many people today, that doorway is a website or online presence.

Your website does not need to be complicated. It does need to be clear, beautiful, trustworthy, and easy to use. A bride and groom should be able to quickly understand who you are, what you offer, where you serve, how your ceremony process works, and how to contact you.

Start with a clear homepage message. For example: “I help brides and grooms prepare for meaningful Christian wedding ceremonies rooted in Scripture, prayer, covenant vows, and personal care.” That one sentence tells the couple what you do.

Then include a simple service pathway. Explain the steps: inquiry, first conversation, couple intake, ceremony planning, premarriage conversation or referral, rehearsal, wedding day officiating, license signing, and follow-up care. Couples trust a process they can understand.

Third, create helpful content. You might write short articles such as “What Makes a Christian Wedding Ceremony Different?” “How to Choose Wedding Scriptures,” “Why Vows Matter,” “What to Expect from a Wedding Officiant,” or “Marriage as Covenant, Not Contract.” These resources serve couples and help search engines understand your ministry.

Fourth, use social media wisely. Social media should not become noise. Post with beauty, reverence, and usefulness. Share Scripture reflections, wedding preparation tips, marriage encouragement, behind-the-scenes ministry lessons, and invitations to learn more. Always protect privacy. Do not share couple stories, photos, or personal details without permission.

A concrete example: After officiating a wedding, you might post, “Today I was reminded again that vows are not just words for a ceremony. They are promises for a household. Praying for every bride and groom beginning covenant life together.” That kind of post teaches without exploiting anyone’s story.

A common mistake is building a website that looks nice but says almost nothing. Another mistake is posting constantly but never creating trust.

Your online presence should serve real ministry. It should help couples find you, understand you, trust you, and take a next step.

Use technology to make covenant marriage visible.
