14B — The 90-Day Wedding Ministry Launch Plan

A 90-day launch plan helps you take your wedding ministry from concept to action.

Many people feel called, but they never move forward because the calling feels too big. Others move too quickly and launch without clarity. A 90-day plan gives you a faithful middle path. It helps you discern, build, test, and launch with wisdom.

Think of the 90 days in three phases.

Phase One is Days 1 through 30: Discern and Prepare.

During this first month, clarify your calling. Write your one-sentence wedding ministry description. Draft your covenant marriage message. Identify your local church, pastor, mentor, or Soul Center connection. Begin your Wedding Ministry Launch Portfolio. Review your legal authority to officiate weddings in your location. Start your business registration and tax awareness checklist if you are developing a MinistryBiz model.

This phase is about roots.

Phase Two is Days 31 through 60: Build and Test.

During this second month, create your practical tools. Draft your couple intake form. Build your first meeting outline. Prepare your ceremony design process. Create your rehearsal checklist and wedding day checklist. Develop your pricing, honorarium, or donation clarity. Make a referral list for pastors, counselors, attorneys, accountants, and crisis resources. Meet with a mentor for review.

This phase is about structure.

Phase Three is Days 61 through 90: Launch and Stabilize.

During this final month, create or update your website or online landing page. Reach out to churches, venues, vendors, friends, and community contacts. Finalize your ministry process. Put your recordkeeping system in place. Set a mentor reporting rhythm. Prepare your follow-up plan for couples after the wedding. Decide what continuing CLI or CLA training comes next.

This phase is about faithful public presence.

A common mistake is to confuse busyness with launch readiness. Posting online is not the same as being prepared. Having a ministry name is not the same as having a process. Getting one wedding request is not the same as having a sustainable ministry.

The 90-day plan helps you walk before you run.

Pray through each phase. Work steadily. Invite review. Keep the bride and groom central. And remember: the goal is not merely to start a wedding service. The goal is to develop a covenant-centered wedding ministry that blesses couples and points people to Christ.
