Worksheet 9.4: Seven-Day Spiritual Rhythm Plan

This worksheet is private. You are not required to upload it or share personal answers. You may choose to share one insight, one prayer request, or one next step with a trusted person, pastor, minister, chaplain, life coach, mentor, or group leader.

The goal is not to create a perfect spiritual routine. The goal is to build a simple seven-day rhythm that helps you remain connected to Christ in real life.

Pause and Pray

Find a quiet moment if possible. If quiet is not possible, simply pause where you are.

Take one slow breath.

Pray:

Lord Jesus, I come to You as I am. You know my schedule, my children, my responsibilities, my tiredness, my emotions, and my desire to grow. Help me abide in You without shame or perfectionism. Teach me one simple rhythm that can fit this season of life. Amen.

[ ] Holy Spirit, help me respond with patience.
[ ] Christ, shepherd me and my children today.

Review After Seven Days

At the end of seven days, answer gently.

What helped me feel more connected to Christ?

What felt unrealistic?

What did I notice about my body, emotions, parenting, and spiritual life?

Where did I experience grace?

What do I want to continue?

What do I need to adjust?

What support may I need next?

Safety and Scope Reminder

This worksheet is for Christian growth and reflection. It does not replace counseling, medical care, legal advice, crisis care, trauma treatment, domestic-violence support, or pastoral authority.

Prayer, Scripture, worship, and rest should never be used to pressure you to ignore danger, hide abuse, violate court orders, refuse medical care, avoid qualified counseling, or pretend serious distress is only a spiritual problem.

If you or your children are unsafe, if you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, or if you are facing abuse, coercion, stalking, violence, sexual harm, medical concerns, or overwhelming distress, seek appropriate emergency, pastoral, clinical, legal, or professional support.

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me build a spiritual rhythm that connects me to You rather than burdens me with shame. Teach me to pray in real life, receive Scripture in small portions, worship with honesty, and rest with self-respect. When my routine falls apart, help me return to You. Strengthen me as a mother, as Your beloved daughter, and as a God-designed woman walking in faith, honor, wisdom, and hope. Amen.
