Purpose of This Worksheet
This worksheet helps you bring your body, desire, loneliness, imagination, dating patterns, boundaries, children’s well-being, and future hope before Christ without shame.

The goal is not sexual shutdown.
The goal is not self-indulgence.

By the end of this worksheet, you will create a private sexual self-care and pause plan that can become part of your Single Mother Growth Portfolio.

Movement Three: Discern and Choose
My God-Designed Organic Womanhood
Read this slowly:
My body is not shameful.
My desire is not disgusting.
My past is not my name.
My motherhood does not erase my womanhood.
My sexuality is part of my God-designed life, and Christ can teach me to steward it with wisdom, moderation, gratitude, and peace.
Now complete these sentences:
One part of my God-designed organic womanhood I want to receive with gratitude is...
One shame label I need to reject is...
One truth Jesus speaks over me is...
Christian Freedom and the Question of Benefit
First Corinthians 6:12 says:
“All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.”
This passage helps ask more than, “Is this allowed?”
It helps ask:
Is this beneficial?
Does this help me honor Christ?
Does this help me walk in self-control?
Does this strengthen my peace?
Does this protect me from pornography, unsafe attachment, sexual compromise, or shame?
Does this keep me from being mastered by desire, fantasy, loneliness, or male approval?
Does this honor my body without making my body my god?
Write:
One sexual self-care practice that may be beneficial for me is...
One sexual pattern that is not beneficial for me is...
One thing I do not want to be mastered by is...
My Personal Line Before God
Each Christian woman must prayerfully discern her line before Christ, Scripture, conscience, wise counsel, and her local church or denominational guidance.
For some women, the faithful line may be complete abstinence from masturbation.
For others, private and moderate masturbation may be discerned as a Christian freedom option and a form of sexual self-care when practiced with a clear conscience before God, without pornography, lustful fantasy about a real person, compulsion, secrecy, emotional escape, or anything that weakens love for Christ.
This worksheet does not force one conclusion on every participant.
Prayerfully complete:
For me, the line I need to honor before God is...
I know this line is being crossed when...
If I feel confused about my line, I will seek wisdom from...
A sexual self-care choice is not healthy for me if it leads to...
A sexual self-care choice may be healthier for me if it helps me...
Pornography, Fantasy, and Sexual Escape Check
Pornography is not sexual self-care.
Sexual escape is not the same as sexual stewardship.
Ask:
Am I using sexual release to avoid pain, grief, prayer, responsibility, or honest support?
Am I using sexual fantasy to rehearse being used, shared, consumed, or controlled?
Am I feeding desire in a way that makes real covenant love harder to imagine?
Am I turning to pornography, sexualized media, or attention-seeking because I feel lonely?
Am I moving toward peace and self-control, or toward secrecy and compulsion?
Write:
One sexual escape pattern I want to resist is...
One healthier response I can practice instead is...
