Video 1A: Planting Christian Soul Centres Across Europe

Hi, I am Henry Reyenga, Founder of Christian Leaders Institute. Welcome to this presentation on planting Christian Soul Centres across Europe.

The banner of this course is simple and hopeful:

Planting Christian Soul Centres where souls grow, leaders emerge, and ministry multiplies.

A Christian Soul Centre is a locally led Christian ministry community. It is a place—physical, relational, or online—where people can encounter the love and truth of Jesus Christ, receive prayer and encouragement, grow through Scripture, discover their callings, and become equipped to serve others.

The Soul Centre is the visible expression of this movement. It is not merely an administrative programme, a directory listing, or a ministry title. It is where Christian ministry becomes locally present.

A Soul Centre might gather in a home, a church building, a café, a community centre, a coaching office, or an online meeting room. It might serve a village, a neighbourhood, a city, a university, a migrant community, a workplace, or a network of people spread across several countries.

The form may change, but the mission remains centred on Jesus Christ.

Christian Leaders Institute provides accessible Christian education and ministry preparation. Christian Leaders Alliance provides study-based, endorsement-supported, locally commissioned, and role-based ministry recognition. The Soul Centre brings that training and recognition into a visible local ministry.

Within a Soul Centre, people may receive Christian life coaching, chaplaincy care, prayer, hospitality, officiant ministry, discipleship, and Christian Growth Courses. Some participants may come because they want to deepen their faith. Others may be lonely, grieving, spiritually curious, or searching for purpose. Some may already be active in a church but desire another opportunity to serve. Others may have no current Christian fellowship.

The Soul Centre meets people where they are without losing sight of where Christ may be leading them.

This movement is not intended to compete with healthy local churches. Soul Centres may serve within churches, beside churches, or in communities where few churches are available. They can strengthen existing Christian ministry by equipping more people for relational, local, and practical service.

The vision also extends beyond one leader or one ministry.

A healthy Soul Centre helps souls grow. As people grow, new leaders emerge. As leaders receive training, endorsement, and commissioning, ministry begins to multiply.

One Soul Centre may help establish another. One Christian life coach may mentor a future Soul Coach. One chaplain may recognise another person’s calling. One small Christian Growth Course may become the beginning of a new fellowship.

This is how a movement grows: not merely through large organisations, but through faithful Christians serving people in their own communities.

As you begin this course, consider the people God has already placed around you. Consider your relationships, your community, your language, your experiences, and your calling.
