WE HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

I Corinthians 12:3, "³ Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, 'Jesus be cursed,' and no one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit.

Is Jesus Christ your Lord?  ___ Yes  ___  No

Galatians 5:22, ²² "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control.”

Are you sometimes loving, joyful, peaceful, patient?  ___  Yes  ___  No

Why are you able to be that way?  ______________________________

I Corinthians 6:19, ¹⁹"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.”

God lived in the O.T. Temple before it was destroyed. Where does He live

But are you filled with the spirit?

Ephesians 5:18 says, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. 

Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”

Notice the contrasts:

Do not get  __________  on  ________

        but be  __________  with  ______    _________

makes us think of

How much of God created the world?
How much of Jesus died on the cross?
How much of the Holy Spirit do you have?

It is not how much I have ____  ________  ____________

how much the Spirit has  ____  ____.
