Reading: Witnessing Vocally: Actions

TO MEMORIZE THIS WEEK:

Romans 10:9, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

SPEAKING WITH OUR SAVIOR:

Dear Holy Spirit of Jesus, I believe that You and the Father and the Son are not willing that _________, the apparently unsaved person I know should not perish but should come to repentance.  You feel that way about every person who was ever created.  I am weak but You are strong.  I am going to bring my thoughts into subjection to Yours.  In my heart I want to bring other sinners home to You.  I will not quit.

ACTION THIS WEEK:

This is our eighth week we've talked and prayed about _________, the apparently unsaved person you know. Set aside a definite time, with paper and en, and write down your thoughts about being a vocal witness.  Thoughts like: Is this actually what Jesus expects?  Must I really being assertive about this?  If I don't "be” in unsaved people's lives, who will?  What can I do to be more bold/eager/obedient in this area of my Christian life?  What other person could help me be more consistent in "being” a vocal witness.

MENTOR:

You and your mentor write down a prayer for a heart about reaching lost people for Jesus, and agree to pray it each day for a week.
