Sin keeps us from going after our spiritual dream.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. The Grace Connection

God's grace allows us to overcome sin to reach our spiritual dream.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.                                                                          2 Corinthians 5:18-19
