Four Attributes of a Conflict Firefighter- First Attribute: Humility

1.         It is the Lord's desire that we walk humbly with Him. Micah 6:8

2.         God welcomes the humble into His presence. Isaiah 57:15

3.         The Lord promises to exalt the humble. Matthew 23:12; James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:5-7

4.         Pride is the enemy of humility and the Peacefire. Proverbs 29:23

5.         Humility is a measure of greatness in God's kingdom. Matthew 18:1-4

6.         Jesus Christ displayed the humility that pleases the Father by becoming a man and laying down his life. Phil. 2:5-11

7.         The same mind (attitude/way of thinking) that was in Jesus Christ is formed in us as we seek him and trust him to transform us into his image. Phil. 2:13; 1 Cor. 2:16
