The Missional Leader Notes: It’s our job to keep people on the mission.  If we don’t keep them missional, they’ll consume, fight, and complain.

Develop Courage in your people- we are all afraid

• 2 Timothy 1:7
• Joshua 1- “Be Strong and Courageous”

Build unity through mission.

• Phil 1:27-30

Experience intimacy with Jesus through mission.

• Matthew 28- “I will be with you always”
• True discipleship includes evangelism

Motivate yourself and others by love and urgency- Romans 9:1-3

• Emphasize personal outreach
• Rather than inviting people to an event, they should be equipped to invite them into a relationship with Christ
• They have the best opportunity to share the good news

Suggested Action

• Set goals for sharing (once a month? week? day?)
• At Believers Church in India, 2.6 million people aim to share the gospel 5x a day
• Get everyone praying through a list of beloved unbelievers
• Plan corporate outreaches
• Pray for each other’s courage (example of Peter, John, Paul)

Success:  Everyone shared the gospel this week/this month.
