The Global Leader Notes: Jesus commanded us to reach the ends of the earth--for their sake and for ours.

Be aware of the billions who still have not heard the gospel even once

• Awareness keeps us from self-centeredness and complaining
• Don’t focus on creatively delivering the gospel to those who have already heard it a dozen times.  Remember the unreached.

Know God’s heart for the fatherless and impoverished

• Psalm 68:5- Father to the fatherless
• James 1:27- True religion, widows, and orphans
• Isaiah 58- Prayer and care for the poor

Figure out tangible ways to love Jesus (Matthew 25)

Remember the martyrs (Hebrews 13:3)

• They need prayer more than we do.
• It will remind us to expect suffering ourselves (1 Peter 5)
