Please Read This

Hi Everyone,

 As you begin your attempts at writing essays on a college level, one thing I request of you is that when you turn in the essays that you do so in a format that will help to make grading more efficient.

As you know, here at CLC, we use computer driven courses which eliminates the need for face to face interaction with the professors from all over the world.  But when it comes to the writing lab, we need to have humans do the critiques of your writing. It will be most helpful if all of you turned in the essays in a readily available to all program. If you have not already done so, install the Google Chrome browser on your device. Within the browser you can find a link to “Google Docs.” Since the Chrome browser is free to all, so is the program of Google Docs.

If everyone uploads their essays in the Google Doc format, it will facilitate grading.  We ask that you use the readily available program as the way to turn in your essays.  You can write your essays using whatever word processing capabilities you have. Then copy and paste your work into a Google doc and upload it. 

Please note: When you turn in your google doc, be sure to share the doc with gtijerina-pike@christianleaders.net.  Sometimes the doc will refuse to allow me to download it and grade it. This simple thing will avoid that. Thanks!
