Writing Assignment 3: Research Paper

Option A - if you are writing your paper before October 13th, 2023

Using the methods you studied in College Writing, write a research paper of 8-10 pages (2,000-2,500 words, plus Reference List). Use APA format. You should complete all twelve units of English 121 College Writing before uploading your research paper in the ENG 122: College Writing Lab.

• Write a research paper about one issue listed here:
1. The concept of medicine in the Scriptures 
2. The relevance of explaining the concept of propaganda in the Church 
3. The use or abuse of technology in worship services
   
4. The relevance of stewardship for my local town as witnessing for Christ     
   
5. The theology of taxes in my nation's prosperity and for spread of the Gospel
6. The two great biblical commandments in relation to social justice 
7. The First Adam and the Second Adam in light of John 3:16 
8. The Abrahamic Covenant and the coming of Christ
9. The concept of revelation and human authority to identify sin in the modern world 

• Research on your own, prepare your sources of knowledge.
• Clearly state your position, present evidence supporting your position, deal fairly with arguments against your position, and seek to persuade an undecided reader. 
• Length of the essay: 8-10 pages (1,300-2,500 words) No less, no more.
• Use good English: grammar, punctuation, spelling, redaction
• Do proper research, quote your sources and list your references. When you use sources, quote them in APA or Chicago style.
• Please, avoid plagiarism - it is useless to copy others' thoughts. 
• Use short sentences, clear paragraphs, grammar connectors.
• Include title, introduction, body and, a persuasive and well founded conclusion. 
• Do not focus in describing your personal experience. This is not a testimony.
