Introduction to Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth is more than learning about the Christian faith. It is learning to walk with God in a way that shapes your identity, relationships, calling, choices, and everyday life. Introduction to Spiritual Growth is a Christian Growth Mini-Course that provides a biblical and practical foundation for growing in Christ through God’s grace, the work of the Holy Spirit, and faithful Christian practices.
Participants will explore the biblical story of Creation, Fall, Redemption, Calling, Christian Walk, and Spiritual Destiny while learning practical ways to develop a lifelong walk with God.
Outcomes
By completing this Mini-Course, participants will:
Understand spiritual growth as whole-person transformation through Jesus Christ.
Explore how grace, faith, repentance, assurance, and the Holy Spirit shape Christian growth.
Practice key elements of the Christian walk, including Scripture, prayer, worship, community, service, and rest.
Apply biblical principles for spiritual growth to relationships, family, church, calling, and daily life.
Recognize personal gifts, opportunities for service, and ways to participate in God’s mission.
Develop a biblical perspective on Christian identity, purpose, spiritual maturity, and eternal hope.
Requirements
Participants will complete assigned video presentations, readings, case studies, worksheets, and learning quizzes. These activities are designed to help connect biblical teaching with personal reflection and practical spiritual growth.
Grading and Completion
Pass/Fail System: A course average of 60% or higher is required to successfully complete the Mini-Course.
