Navigating Conflict in Christ
Learn to move from the Wildfire of human conflict into the Peacefire of Christ through humility, prayer, grace-filled conversations, forgiveness, wisdom, boundaries, and restored relationships.
Are you ready to follow Christ in the middle of conflict, respond with wisdom instead of reaction, and become a peaceful presence in your home, church, ministry, workplace, and community?Navigating Conflict in Christ, taught by Attorney/Pastor Brian DeCook, equips believers to see conflict as a place of discipleship, spiritual formation, humility, faithful witness, and deeper reliance on Jesus Christ.
Course Purpose
The purpose of Navigating Conflict in Christ is to help students understand how conflict can reveal the condition of the heart, expose destructive reactions, and invite believers into Christ-centered transformation.
Using the Peacefire framework developed by Attorney/Pastor Brian DeCook, students learn to distinguish the Wildfire of flesh-driven reactions from the Peacefire of God’s presence, truth, grace, wisdom, and power.
This course also exposes Strangefire, the temptation to pursue godly goals through self-powered or ungodly methods. Students are invited to seek God’s presence, own their part, confront sin wisely, forgive faithfully, and build appropriate firebreaks when needed.
