Christian Leaders Alliance Ordination Endorsement Class
The Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) offers study-based credentials for individuals pursuing ministry roles, including ordination through the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA). This process combines comprehensive online ministry training with essential local endorsements to ensure both educational preparation and community validation.
Study-Based Training: CLI provides tuition-free ministry courses designed to equip candidates with biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills. These courses cover various subjects, such as Bible study, theology, and ministry practices, preparing individuals for effective service in their communities.
Local Endorsements: Beyond academic training, CLA emphasizes the importance of local endorsements. Each ordination candidate must secure recommendations from individuals who can attest to their character and calling. This local commendation ensures that the candidate is recognized and supported by their community, adding credibility to their ordination.
Ordination Process: The ordination process through CLA involves several steps:
- Ministry Training: Completion of required courses through CLI, tailored to the specific ministry role the candidate is pursuing.
- Local Endorsements: Obtaining recommendations from trusted individuals, such as spouse, mentors, church leaders, or community members, who can affirm the candidate's readiness for ministry.
- Credentialing: After fulfilling training and endorsement requirements, candidates are listed in the CLA Minister Directory and may order their official clergy recognition kits and be commissioned into their ministry office.
This integrated approach ensures that ordained ministers are well-prepared academically and have the trust and support of their local communities, enhancing the credibility and effectiveness of their ministry.
