Ministry Sciences: From Cope to Hope

Navy and Mengly were moved by their experiences and decided to convert to Christianity. Their faith grew stronger as they pursued studies at Christian Leaders Institute, following their calling to serve and lead within the Christian community. PHI 320 - Modern and Postmodern Philosophy (4 Credits)
The study of Modern and Postmodern Philosophy offers critical insights into the intellectual movements that have shaped contemporary thought. This course covers pivotal developments from the Renaissance to the present, examining how philosophers like Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Derrida contributed to evolving views on reality, human knowledge, morality, and the divine.
The Ministry Hosting: Creating Environments for Ministry and Supporting Disrupted or Unsettled Individuals and Families course is designed to equip Host Ministers with the compassion, wisdom, and practical skills needed to serve those in need. This course integrates spiritual care with practical support, empowering ministers to offer Christ-centered hospitality. Participants will learn how to establish safe, structured environments that nurture spiritual growth, provide emotional healing, and build community. Upon completion, participants will be certified as Host Ministers, ready to serve in various roles where ministry and hospitality intersect, including offering temporary shelter and emotional and spiritual care to displaced individuals and families.
