This is the story of Andy, a pastor who overcame a lifetime of challenges, including poverty, trauma, addiction, and a near loss of his marriage, to answer a calling to ministry. Raised in a poor, crowded home with a family marked by brokenness, he endured personal struggles that left him angry, lost, and far from God. But through the support of his wife, the prayers of others, and his own determination, he found redemption and a new purpose. The video shares raw and heartfelt moments from his journey—how faith transformed his life and how he learned to love and serve others, even when it wasn’t easy. Together with his wife, Keri, he planted a church that embraces people from all walks of life, creating a community built on love, grace, and acceptance. A key part of his story includes discovering Christian Leaders Institute, which provided him with the affordable, flexible education he needed to deepen his understanding of God’s Word and prepare for ministry, all while juggling work, family, and church responsibilities. This is a story about redemption, resilience, and the power of God’s love to transform even the hardest situations into something beautiful. It’s a reminder that no matter where you start, God can use your story to bring hope to others.

PHI 320 - Modern and Postmodern Philosophy (4 Credits)
The study of Modern and Postmodern Philosophy offers critical insights into the intellectual movements that have shaped contemporary thought. This course covers pivotal developments from the Renaissance to the present, examining how philosophers like Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Derrida contributed to evolving views on reality, human knowledge, morality, and the divine.
The Ministry Hosting: Creating Environments for Ministry and Supporting Disrupted or Unsettled Individuals and Families course is designed to equip Host Ministers with the compassion, wisdom, and practical skills needed to serve those in need. This course integrates spiritual care with practical support, empowering ministers to offer Christ-centered hospitality. Participants will learn how to establish safe, structured environments that nurture spiritual growth, provide emotional healing, and build community. Upon completion, participants will be certified as Host Ministers, ready to serve in various roles where ministry and hospitality intersect, including offering temporary shelter and emotional and spiritual care to displaced individuals and families.
