Minister Ordination Role Recognition Class

Are you interested in ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance? Christian Leaders gives you access to a recognized ordained clergy option that allows you to perform weddings and other minister duties. This Ordained Minister clergy recognition is the first step and is a prerequisite for all other ordination recognitions at the Christian Leaders Alliance.

Class Outcomes:Upon the completion of this course, students will:
- Receive additional training for ordained ministry. These skills include reviewing baptisms and conducting the Lord's Supper. This is review material because you already have completed the Minister Officiant Skills Class.
- Explore whether you are ready to hold the office of Deacon Minister.
- Learn what it means to be ordained with the Christian Leaders Alliance.
- Gather three recommendations indicating that they are fit for clergy recognition.
- Update their profile to recognize their ordination status.
- Be included in the Christian Leaders Alliance Directory.
- Be allowed to order the Clergy Recognition Package that gives the documentation needed as an ordained clergy member.
This deacon minister ordination is the "seed" or foundation step in your ordination. Once you complete this course, you are ordained with the Christian Leaders Alliance. We have many more ordination roles you can pursue. You are not ordained again; you are ordained once. The other ordination roles/concentrations you take bring more training and credibility as an ordained clergy leader. You will find out more about what this means in this class.
Your ordination credentials are established by completing this class and purchasing your clergy package. We will not require you to renew your credentials. If local complaints about your doctrine or life are expressed to us, we will investigate the complaint. If a complaint is substantiated upon review, you may be removed from the ordination directory.
Assignments
View all online lectures and read all the articles on each topic. CLI's computer tracks whether you do this. After viewing all lectures for the unit, take the quiz based on the lectures (100% of grade).

Your average grade for all assignments in the class must be at least 60%. Otherwise, you will fail the class and will receive no course credit.Student Network

Ministering to God's people as a local minister deacon is a foundational status for ministry. It is a calling and a privilege. While we are able to observe your academic readiness for becoming an ordained ministry deacon, we need to have your calling confirmed by those who know you. We ask for at least three recommendations.
You must obtain three (3) letters of recommendation.
- One must be from a deacon, elder, or pastor.
- One must be from your spouse or a friend if unmarried
- One must be from a non-family member that knows you and respects you.
This is the establishment of your ministry credentials as a ministry deacon. This credential needs to be established on a regular basis to communicate your credibility as a ministry leader.
If you are in conflict with local Christian leaders and it is brought to our attention by those local leaders, we will be unable to ordain you until that conflict has been resolved. We also will not mediate in those situations; it is your responsibility to resolve the conflict.
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12:14-15.
Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses. 1 Timothy 5:19.
