Life Coaching Minister Commissioning Service
This Commissioning Service is a sacred occasion to install a Life Coach Minister, a spiritual leader dedicated to guiding others through Christ-centered coaching and ministry within the Church and the broader community.
This service may be led by the candidate’s mentor, pastor, church leader, Christian Leaders Church representative, Christian Leaders Alliance member, or a denominational minister. It can be part of a worship service, conducted as a standalone event, or included in a house church gathering.
Introduction
Today, we gather to commission and install [Name] into the role of Life Coach Minister. This service celebrates the call of God on [Name]’s life and their commitment to glorify Christ by helping individuals discern their goals, overcome obstacles, and live God-honoring lives.
This commissioning is built on the following biblical principles:

Acknowledgment of Training
[Name] has completed formal ministry training through the Christian Leaders Institute, which includes coursework and practical training in life coaching and ministry. They have earned the Life Coach Minister Credential, fulfilling all requirements, including the Christian Officiant Role and Life Coach Minister Commissioning Course.
Since 2006, the Christian Leaders Institute has been equipping leaders with college-level ministry training to serve God effectively.
The Charge to the One Being Commissioned
As a Life Coach Minister, you are charged with the following responsibilities, grounded in the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit:
Responsibilities
- Coaching Excellence: Provide Christ-centered coaching to help individuals discern their purpose, set goals, and overcome challenges (Proverbs 11:14).
- Spiritual Care: Guide those you serve toward spiritual growth and emotional well-being (Hebrews 13:17).
- Holy Spirit Guidance: Depend on the Holy Spirit to lead you in your coaching and ministry (John 14:26; Acts 4:31).
- Sanctified Living: Live a holy life that reflects Christ’s character in every area (Romans 8:13-17; Colossians 3:5-10).
- Rejection of Darkness: Renounce sin and walk in the light, serving as a testimony to God’s grace (Colossians 3:5-10).
- Integrity and Accountability: Uphold the qualifications outlined for Christian leaders in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Statement of Accountability
As with all Christian leaders, if [Name] becomes delinquent in doctrine or conduct, those present today are encouraged to contact the commissioning authority or the Christian Leaders Alliance to ensure accountability and restoration.

The Laying on of Hands
The officiating leader(s) shall lay hands on the candidate and pray:

Final Charge to the Newly Commissioned Life Coach Minister
