Choose one of the following topics. Write a 4-5 page essay (1,000-1,300 words) in which you state your position, present evidence supporting your position, deal fairly with arguments against your position, and seek to persuade an undecided reader.

Topic 1: Should the church baptize babies of committed Christian parents?

Topic 2: Which spiritual gifts from the time of the apostles are still in operation today?

To upload your essay for grading, you must be a College student earning College credit. You must be enrolled in English 122 College Writing Lab and upload your essay there.

2. The positive or negative influence of young people studying philosophy 
   
3. Christians are too much or too little influenced by their culture
   
4. Teaching to follows one's emotions or to seek the truth
   
5. Churches need to require or not require catechisms classes
   
6. The importance or uselessness of reciting Christians creeds during worship services
7. Church attendance should be in person or it can be online

• Research on your own, prepare your sources of knowledge.
• Clearly state your position, present evidence supporting your position, deal fairly with arguments against your position, and seek to persuade an undecided reader. 
• Length of the essay: 4-5 pages (1,000-1,300 words) No less, no more.
• Use good English: grammar, punctuation, spelling, redaction
• Do proper research, quote your sources and list your references. When you use sources, quote them in APA or Chicago style.
• Please, avoid plagiarism - it is useless to copy others' thoughts. 
• Use short sentences, clear paragraphs, grammar connectors.
• Include title, introduction, body and, a persuasive and well founded conclusion. 
• Do not focus in describing your personal experience. This is not a testimony.
• Do not generalize nor provide a harmful/bitter criticism.
