Course Description: Men’s Ministry (1 Module)
Video Lectures by Rev. Steve Elzinga
M'inscrire The Men’s Ministry course equips Christian leaders to understand, launch, and sustain effective men’s ministry programs in the local church and community. Combining biblical teaching, practical tools, and the Philosophy of Men framework, this course helps leaders disciple men as whole, organic humans—integrated in identity, relationships, vocation, and mission.
Through 12 structured topics, students will explore both the “why” and the “how” of men’s ministry. They will learn how to build ministries that move beyond events to cultivate relationships, foster accountability, and multiply leaders who embody Christlike masculinity. Along the way, participants will study the theological and philosophical foundations of manhood, engage with real-world case studies, and practice skills for leading Bible studies, organizing groups, structuring programs, and casting vision.
Key topics include:
- Why Have a Men’s Ministry? – Understanding the need and biblical foundation.
- Leading a Men’s Ministry – Motivating and encouraging men toward leadership.
- Recruiting and Vision – Establishing a Christ-centered foundation for growth.
- Men Like to Do – Leveraging activities, service, and action for discipleship.
- Bible Study, Prayer, and Music – Anchoring men’s ministry in Scripture, prayer, and worship.
- Structuring and Multiplying – Organizing groups for sustainability and multiplication.
- Philosophy of Men Readings – Exploring the organic man in creation, fall, redemption, relationships, sexuality, and mission.
By the end of this course, students will:
- Understand the biblical, theological, and philosophical foundations for men’s ministry.
- Develop practical skills for leading, structuring, and multiplying men’s groups.
- Gain tools for discipling men in identity, sexuality, relationships, and mission.
- Create a contextualized vision and action plan for launching or strengthening men’s ministry in their setting.
This course is ideal for ministers, chaplains, ministry Coaches, small group leaders, volunteer coordinators, and others who desire to disciple men into Christlike wholeness and mobilize them for kingdom impact in family, church, culture, and society.
