Introduction
Finance sometimes sounds like something necessary but perhaps a bit boring. But financial stewardship was really a key part of what Jesus did during the three years of His earthly ministry. He helped people use their resources and assets towards benefiting the entire community, in the hopes of drawing the community closer to Christ. Recall the parable of the talents (Matthew 25: 14-30), just as those in the parable grew the wealth given to them by Jesus, and Jesus said in verse 29, "For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance." But, the abundance given to us we must steward in a Christ-like manner, advancing the cause of the Kingdom, above any other priority. If you are a leader, a pastor, a Christian business leader, then you need the principles discussed in this course.
